Darrell’s has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and has held various corporate Organizational Development and Human Resources roles as, Director, VP and SVP. For most of a decade, he served as Chief Operating Officer/Executive Pastor for a multi-site mega-church in Colorado.
In addition, for over 15 years, he’s been consulting leaders, their teams and their organizations, including: multi-site churches, global ministries, non-profit organizations, government, first responders and small, medium and Fortune 500 companies. Darrell has helped clients develop high-performing inclusive, healthy and engaging teams and cultures.
Experiences with numerous high-performance business and ministry teams including his world tour with a high-performing evangelical basketball team provided firsthand experience with successful team environments. Coach D was awarded a silver medal playing basketball on Team U.S.A. at the Australia Games and earned an NBA Legends M.V.P. award.
As an Associate in the Senior Leadership & Nonprofit division, Darrell provides a depth of insight to the search process that serves both the church and the candidate for finding the best fit.
When he’s not recruiting, executive coaching, training or facilitating retreats, he can be found hanging out with his wife of over 30 years, riding his road bike, shooting archery or video-conferencing with one or all five of his kids, three human or furry grand-kiddos.
