Chesed Berry (pronounced “Kessid”) joined the Slingshot Team in in early 2016 as a Staffing and Coaching Associate. This lady is crazy about the Local Church! Her relational strengths, expansive network, innovative spirit and passion for people make her a valued member of our team and a powerful force in a staffing and coaching partnership.
Her experience in Organizational Development started over 10 years ago and hit high octane fuels as the former Recruitment Director at Life.Church. Chesed found her niche with staffing and coaching. In this role, she led the charge to identify, interview and hire the team that God is still using to make history there at every level of the organization, from pastoral, operational, and technical roles. | Her experience at Life.Church and in her role at Slingshot have allowed her to build a strong understanding of the multi-site church model, employee engagement, organizational health and structure, as well as an evident talent for filling roles in multiple ministry areas.
Chesed, her husband Patrick, and their two beautiful daughters reside in Destin, Florida. As a family, they are committed to serving Shoreline Church and their community while balancing making adventure part of their lifestyle. They spend their leisure time surrounded by family, playing on the water, and adventuring around the world.
