Church or Org Description
For the last ten years, Radiance has experienced success in ministry in an extremely transient city. It has become a church made up of mostly millennials and young families who reconstruct their faith and engage in a culture of discipleship. Because of this, Radiance has spent a great deal of time and focus on creating a church where people can grow together in a safe community and begin to use their unique passions to shape the world around them.
Radiance Church sits in a fast-paced, work-hard culture with an emphasis on excellence, which bleeds into our leadership culture. With this, Radiance wants to build and strengthen a discipleship culture and change people’s mentalities and expectations about faith and life. The irony of the city is that people do not feel as if they have time to invest in relationships; however, they are hungry for them. There is a huge opportunity to raise future disciples and leaders at Radiance.
Position Description
Radiance Christian Church, a Bible-based, Christ-centered church, is seeking to add a second full-time pastor who will focus on community outreach, teaching, and equipping the
body for the work of evangelism. This individual will report to our current Senior Pastor and have a voice in leadership.
The primary areas of focus will be twofold.
1. Partner with leadership to create a discipleship culture through our community groups and ministries.
2. Oversee our families, children, and youth ministries.
